Announced in the fourth quarter of 2013 the TripConnect platform came to fruition, hotel reservation systems certified by TripAdvisor , including running ResNet World Booking Engine , can benefit from the new facilities.

ResNet World Clients are Now Qualified to Use TripConnect to Increase Direct Bookings & Revenue. ResNet World is pleased to announce their recent certification as a TripAdvisor Premium Partner for the company’s new advertising bidding tool, TripConnect. TripConnect enables hoteliers to bid for a higher price position within their hotels’ page and will allow potential guests to book directly through their hotel’s website, helping to increase revenue for the property, while saving money on OTA commissions. ResNet World is a Premium Partner within the TripAdvisor network, which allows ResNet World customers to benefit from the launch of TripConnect.

Located in Jebel Ali and part of Dubai World Central, an "aviation city" that the government launched as a free economic zone, Al Maktoum International Airport is expected to become the world's largest airport upon completion.

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air was the first airline to be welcomed at the new passenger terminal, and was greeted with a customary festive water salute.

Al Maktoum International Airport's two other launch carriers are Kuwait-based low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways and Bahrain's full-service Gulf Air, which also made its inaugural flight to the new airport on Sunday.

Hotels expectations for Room Bookings in 2014 went higher as more & more visitors will reach Dubai and will be looking for accommodation at this popular destination.
